By now everyone has heard about Harry Reid and his comments about Obama. From the CNN article on it: ”he was favorably impressed by Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign and, in a private conversation, described the Illinois senator as a ‘light-skinned’ African-American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one’.” (CNN quoting Reid). Effectively, Reid was impressed that a black person could be well educated, charismatic, and talk without a “negro” accent. This is racism pure and simple. My point, however, is not to add another voice calling it racism, but just to ask one question:
How would Obama be acting if they didn’t need Reid’s vote for the health care bill?
Let’s face it, that’s the real reason Obama is so quick to forgive Reid and the Democratic party to defend him. They need him to pass their socialist agenda.
