On this day, let us all remember the reason for the season: early christian jealousy over sweet pagan parties (Saturnalia) that involved fertility rites (orgies) and celebration of the winter solstice and the lengthening days.
As anyone who has read the christian’s bible would know, jesus (if a man with that name existed) was born in September.
