		<description><![CDATA[[...] Although I applaud these efforts, one major problem still remains: atheism is the lack of a belief.  As I argue in &#8220;The Irrationality of Atheism,&#8221; being an &#8220;atheist&#8221; just means you don&#8217;t believe in a god.  It is not itself a belief.  The problem with this, as I argue in &#8220;Shattered Illusions,&#8221; is that atheism is a cognitive void.  People can&#8217;t just lack beliefs, they need to believe in something.
