Recently in Newark Ohio, a 15 year old girl was charged with a felony. Her crime? She took nudes photos of herself. (link)
In this case, the State of Ohio, in its beneficence, will be representing the victim: that is, the girl who victimized herself, when she took nude pictures of herself. Thus, in order to protect her, the State is charging this minor child with a felony and if she is convicted, by the State…on her behalf, she may be required to register as a “sex-offender.”
Let me state formally and publicly that the point at which the law abandons reason and becomes absurd is the point at which the law is no longer Law and has become nothing more than the pretensions of tyranny.
