Dear IPCC, I know you keep having lots of “accidents” and “mishaps” and “other euphemisms,” but I’d like to say that THE ENDS DO NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS. Even if you think global warming is true, which is unlikely given the new cooling stage predicted (oh no! Global cooling!), you cannot doctor the numbers to support your positions. Even if they are “accidents.”
Flawed communication between teams of scientists caused the UN climate change agency to claim most Himalayan glaciers would melt almost 300 years earlier than forecast, leading glaciologists claim.
